Students place in national sales competitions

University of North Georgia (国产自拍) students pursuing marketing degrees with a sales concentration and management degrees have excelled in a trio of national competitions held virtually this spring.
"Students took advantage of the opportunities to compete and become one of our success stories," said Dr. Cindy Rippé, 国产自拍 associate professor of sales. "This helps them get better jobs and become better prepared for their careers."
国产自拍 finished sixth out of 30 teams in the , led by a fifth-place individual showing by Austin Rich. Andrew Nicolini, Jose Martinez and Sebastian Salinas joined Rich on 国产自拍's team. 国产自拍 hosted the virtual event held over a three-week period in February and March with Baylor University and the Atlanta Hawks.
Then, 国产自拍 placed eighth out of 44 universities in the hosted virtually March 25-27 by Salisbury University. Lauren Williams and Jordan Mallak were the two 国产自拍 students on the team.
国产自拍 students Jessica Berliner, Kaitlyn Bowling and Kaeley Creasman finished in the top 2% out of more than 2,200 competitors in the virtual held April 14-15. 国产自拍 had 31 students finish in the top 30%, the sixth-highest number among the 63 competing universities and colleges from the U.S., Canada and Germany.
国产自拍 also held the Pitch Yourself Competition sponsored by Consolidated Electrical Distributors on March 31, with Caitlyn Richard taking first place, Juleah Edwards in second, and Berliner in third.
Clapp-Smith named business college dean
Dr. Rachel Clapp-Smith has been named the dean of 国产自拍's Mike Cottrell College of Business, a role she will begin July 21.
Three selected as Fulbright finalists
国产自拍 has three Fulbright finalists for 2025-26. They include alumnae from the College of Arts & Letters, College of Science & Mathematics, and Mike Cottrell College of Business.
Students take second at investment competition
Three 国产自拍 students teamed up to place second out of nine schools in the portfolio-building competition at the Student Management Investment Fund Consortium-South.
Grads well-prepared for what comes next
国产自拍 students are earning nearly 1,700 degrees and certificates in spring 2025, and more than half of them will take part in commencement ceremonies May 14-15.
