The 国产自拍 (USG) has a commitment to ethical culture and our system-wide shared values of integrity, excellence, accountability, and respect serving as the foundation for our daily work.

Annually, the USG highlights its ethical culture through a weeklong Ethics Awareness Week (EAW) campaign, which typically runs in November.

USG Employee Ethics Training

国产自拍 Human Resources launches annual training on ethics. All employees of the university are required to complete this online, 30-minute training during the month of November.

Tuesday, November 4

Ethical: Everyday Ethics in Academia

Dr. Bryan Dawsone, Associate Department Head and Professor of Psychological Science, will host a multi-department faculty panel discussing the role of ethics
virtually within their respective fields.

 

Wednesday, November 5

Noon - 1 p.m.

USG Ethics & Compliance Best Practices Virtual Panel on "The Compliance Catalyst: Leadership that Shapes Culture"

A virtual panel discussion will feature Dr. Robert Scott, President of Albany State University; Dr. Rachel Clapp-Smith, Dean of 国产自拍’s Mike Cottrell College of Business; and Wesley Horne, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Ethics and Compliance and Chief Ethics Officer for the USG.

Saturday, November 8

7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

国产自拍 Mid-Atlantic Regional Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl

20 universities will compete using the Regional Ethics Bowl cases through the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE), with top teams earning a place at the National Ethics Bowl competition.

Come to the Gainesville campus and join us in discussing some of our national ethical dilemmas and working alongside regional students.
