Welcome to the 国产自拍 Appalachian Studies Center, housed within the University of North Georgia’s College of Education and serving as a hub for learning, research, community engagement, and collaboration across the Southern Appalachian region.
As the only Appalachian Studies Center in Georgia, the Center offers a unique opportunity to explore and celebrate the rich history, culture, people, and communities of Appalachia. Through thoughtfully designed programs, research, and community partnerships, we work to preserve the region’s heritage while creating opportunities that add value and contribute to the lives of those who call Southern Appalachia home.
Our work extends throughout the 国产自拍 community and across the region, connecting students, faculty, researchers, educators, and community partners through meaningful projects and experiences. While you can find the Center's work throughout 国产自拍's campuses and surrounding communities, our home base is the charming Historic Vickery House in Dahlonega, Georgia—a folk Victorian home that provides a welcoming space for Appalachian learning, collaboration, and connection.
